To Sign Up Or Not To Sign Up…
Many ID students (you know who you are) would like to volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity Project but are not yet ASID Student Members. Turns out, you need to be to participate, but here’s the thing, TACDC Bookstore can now charge the student membership fee to your account (IIDA fee as well). That makes life much easier, so there’s absolutely no reason not to get involved this year.
The Interior Design Student Association (IDSA) is our school’s ID club that is free of charge (no bookstore charge account needed!) and acknowledges both ASID and IIDA events as well as organizing their own Interior Design projects within the community. IDSA will announce their weekly meeting time for the new semester very soon, so I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, if you would like information about IDSA, IIDA, or ASID contact Anyce Paquette or Claudia Siemens through their email: IDSAtucson@gmail.com.
If you are not familiar with what these clubs are and why it would benefit you to become a member of the ID world, then it really is time to learn more about what it’s all about.
