First Art Club field trip of the year!
Hello all, I am super excited today to post about Art Club’s first adventure of the year! This Friday at noon, the Art Club will be meeting at the Mini-Time Machine Museum of Miniatures to explore this new, state-of-the-art interactive museum. You can read more about the only minitures museum in the Southwest by clicking here. I really recommend taking a look at their website, whether you plan to go with Art Club or not – this place looks amazing! Admission is only $7, and this seemingly fantastic place is home to over 200 miniature houses within more than 15,000 square feet of space.
The Art Club will be meeting at the museum (not on campus) this Friday at 12pm. The address is 4455 E. Camp Lowell, near Swan Road.
As a reminder, Art Club is a student-run club that meets in the Printmaking room (FA5) every Friday at noon. Anyone can attend the meetings, which are a great way to get involved with the huge art scene in Tucson. The Art Center Design College’s Art Club participates in the Open Studio Tour each year here on campus, as well as a variety of other fun events to get your art out there in the community. If you have any specific questions about Art Club or would like to be added to the email list to hear about news and exciting adventures, you can email student Morgan Chonis at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be posting more events from Art Club as the term carries on, so be sure to check back often.
I hope to see you all at the museum this Friday!
