Mentored Learning Hours
Hey, all! I just wanted to add to Jules’ post about Mentored Learning Hours on campus. Have you ever been really excited about a project you’re working on? Have an idea that you’re just not sure how to execute? Mentored Learning Hours on campus were created specifically for that purpose. They are different from Lab Hours in that you don’t have to be working on a project and need technical help… When you attend Mentored Learning Hours you may just want to discuss artistic principles and how they relate to your work, or want to develop a greater understanding of the history, principles, or tools as they relate to your feild of study (or not your feild of study – any student can go to any Mentored Learning session). In other words, an illustrator wanting to explore animation is welcome to attend the animation Mentored Learning. Take advantage of this opportunity to really expand your understanding by getting some one-on-one time with your instructors!
