Art Center Alumnus and Instructor Exhibiting at MOCA

March 3, 2010

I am excited to announce that Art Center Design College Alumnus Alex Von Bergen will have work featured in the Tucson Museum of Contemporary Art, along with current TACDC fine arts/ art history instructor SJ Gibson.

This show is titled Made in Tucson, Born in Tucson, Live in Tucson and it will be a continuing series (this is Part I). According to the MOCA website, “Each of these artists has a relationship to Tucson—whether they were born here, trained here, or produced work here. The work represents a dynamic, engaging, and wide-ranging set of art practices from artists spanning four generations.”

The show opens this Saturday, March 6 and runs through May 30. I will definitely be there and I’d love to see a big turnout of Art Center students, faculty, and friends.

Have a great week’s end, everyone, and I will see you at the MOCA opening on Saturday!
